Bellflower

  • Heirloom Variety
  • Bellflower apples are from the early 19th century
  • Known as the "Belle Fleur" by the French for its beauty in blossom
  • Long-time favorite pie apple, also excellent fresh eating and for making hard cider
  • Traditional fruity flavor, that is balanced between tart and sweet
  • Their delicate sweet-tart flavor makes them great for eating out of hand, as well​

Black Twig

  • Heirloom Variety
  • ​Believe to have originated around 1870
  • Black Twig, an old Tennessee variety, is one of the most beautiful apples with its dark burgundy skin
  • It is suspected to be a seedling of the Winesap apple
  • Black Twig has a very crisp flesh and an assertive flavor that is both sweet and tart
  • Hard-cider makers love them
  • Great for eating out of hand

  • Braeburn Apples are some of the most flavorful apples in the world

  • My Jewel apples are a chance seedling discovered in Watsonville, CA in the 1940's by one of the local old-time farmers
  • He only gave cuttings to a few local farming families  like ours
  • We are one of the last Watsonville apple farms to grow this variety
