A Family Tradition
Prevedelli Farms is a fourth-generation certified organic, family run farm; it has been operating in Watsonville since 1945, for over 70 years. The farm was originally established on Old San Jose Road in Soquel in the 1930s. It was started by Arturo Prevedelli, who emigrated from Italy in the early 1900s A true family-run farm, the entire family works on the farm; whether it's planting, harvesting, or selling at the farmer's market: everybody is involved
All of the Prevedelli Farms’ fruit and vegetables are certified organic and locally grown. Their apples, pears, and berries are picked by hand at peak ripeness for full flavor. Berries are available starting in late spring and into late summer and apples are harvested from July through November. The large variety of apples grown enables Prevedelli Farms to keep up with the apple harvest, as they ripen at different times.
We are very passionate about what we grow, and we want to pass this onto you. We love what we do growing fruits and vegetables that are fun, favorable and delicious.
Please come meet us at the farm or at farmers market, Stop by and you will get a warm welcome from Prevedelli Farms to meet Silvia, Frank, Nick, Geri, Sam or Chaise; we enjoy getting to know our customers. One of us will always be free to answer your questions. Be sure to try a few different varieties
