Loganberries are a cross between a blackberry and red raspberry. They were a chance cross created in 1883 in Santa Cruz, California by Judge J.H. Logan. The Loganberry is thought to be a natural cross between a California native blackberry and a red raspberry. They are very rare and hard to grow. Loganberries are super juicy and highly flavored. Great for fresh eating and often used for pies, juice and wine.
